The safe proven way to help protect children, pets and valuable livestock from deadly snakes

The very real threat from snakes is a constant problem, not just when you venture out into the wilder regions of the country, but where we live, whether it be in rural areas or the suburbs, in our gardens where our families play, in our garden sheds even our homes, they are always around but unfortunately, often we do not realise it until we have an unpleasant encounter with one!

Snakes are attracted to the places where we live for the shelter and food such as frogs and mice that are also attracted to our homes. Snakes need only a tiny gap to enter your home or buildings, less than 5mm( 1/4inch) they seek out dark places where they can rest, such as under play houses, dog kennels, laundries, chicken houses and garden sheds. Only coming out to hunt, snakes can be deadly if disturbed in there environment by inquisitive children or pets. The need for a safe snake repellent is obvious.

Safe to use around animals and children.

ShooSnake Snake Repellent is made up of all natural essential oils and contains no chemicals. It is very safe to use!!!

How it works

Snakes have exceptionally sensitive taste and scent organs, a snake can actually taste. The air around itself, the unique blend of natural extracts in ShooSnake gives of a powerful scent and bitter taste, which the snake finds unpleasant, so it goes elsewhere! It does not harm the snake.

Normally upon first encountering an area sprayed with the repellent the snake acts normally, but once it transfers the scent of the repellent to its Jacobson's organ (taste and scent receptor), many show signs of extreme lethargy as if anaesthetized, many are irritated and rub themselves on the ground as if in an attempt to rid themselves of it.

The Product is especially effective against RATTLESNAKES, COPPERHEADS and is also a very good deterrent to the troublesome COTTONMOUTH.

How to use ShooSnake

We recommend that you spray every 3-4 weeks from spring to autumn for continuous protection, although under some conditions ShooSnake can be effective for up to 2 months, with regular applications the effectiveness will increase.

ShooSnake will work more effectively if sprayed onto wood, cement, bricks, or anything porous. Being made up of all natural essential oils, ShooSnake will soak into most porous surfaces for longer, more effective protection.

Spray lightly areas you wish to protect such as under the floors of kennels, play houses, around all openings into houses, sheds and garages. We have found an effective way to prevent snakes entering under badly fitting doors is to spray the bottom edge of the door. Spray the underside of baby carriages and playpens when left outdoors. When camping we suggest you spray around the outside of your tent at ground level. To prevent snakes entering birdcages and aviaries, spray around the places where snakes can climb up to reach the birds. Around water features and pools in the garden, spray gaps under rocks and decks which snakes find to be a particularly good environment being both cool and moist. Spray openings and cracks in concrete and retaining walls. Just use any household or garden sprayer to apply. No special equipment is needed as it is so safe to use, and does not have an unpleasant odour.

Some advice about snakes

Snakes can be fatal!

To lessen the likelihood of snakes from inhabiting your property there are some ways you can make it less attractive to them. Clean up all garden trash, don't leave them any places to hide.

Keep grass mown short, they do not like to be caught in the open. Try not to attract rodents, so do not leave uneaten animal feed accessible to them and keep food scraps out of compost heaps and in rodent proof garbage bins.

If you encounter a snake do not try to kill it that could be a fatal mistake! For you! Watch where it goes if it does not leave your vicinity call your local parks and wildlife service let them remove it.
If you are unfortunate enough to be bitten, do not panic, easy to say! But try to stay calm, wrap the affected limb tightly with a compression bandage, do not wash the wound unless you can positively identify the snake, as venom around the wound can used to ensure the correct anti vannine is used.

Do not try to kill the snake if there is any risk at all of being bitten again.

Call for medical assistance. Do not try to drive as effects can come on suddenly just try to stay as calm and still as possible.

Even if you receive a bite from a non-venomous snake get immediate medical attention, as very unpleasant infections are often the result, with wounds that fester and do not heal for many years.
