Background
The Company was founded in 1924, by Hughes Family and was a supplier of bulk Chemicals. In the year 1958, the company started Research & Development in the field of enzymes and were first to produce termoozyme 653 AM for blood glucose determination in hospital laboratories.

The company is a research oriented organization and has introduced many new products for clinical laboratories and various enviormental friendly products during its R&D work of more than four decades.

In 1986 they produced the first bird deterrent Gel – PESTGO which has over 90% share of the European market. In 1988, it produced the first and still unique anti cockroach gel PESTRIN.

Scope of Collaboration
HHL provides all details of Technical know-how such as process technical information, Data, Design and Engineering, Process layout list and specification of Plant and Equipments, specification of raw material and components, utility specification and other requirements etc.. to Hughes & Hughes Chem Ltd., New Delhi.

HHL had performed detailed design, engineering erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the plant. HHL had trained personnel of Hughes & Hughes Chem Ltd. at their own plant. During the training they impart any know how and experience associated with the production of the products, inspection and quality control.

HHL has made available the services of HHL technicians and engineers and other technical and qualified personnel to advise, guide and assist M/s Hughes & Hughes Chem Ltd. in the use of HHL technical know-how from time to time.
